Day 21: Sustainable fashion

I'm going green for day 21 of my Advent-calendar countdown to Christmas with this recycled polyester blouse from H&M. Yep, this pretty floral top is made from 100% recycled fibre from petbottles or textile waste. At £24.99 there's hardly any difference in price from a garment made of non-sustainable fabric, so help save the planet - fashionably. The added bonus is that you'll be right on trend with next season's florals.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of polyester clothing (it's the texture and feel of it), but I do love the voluminous sleeves on this blouse - very Alison Goldfrapp, circa 2008's Seventh Tree album. There's also a sweet lilac and pale-blue recycled polyester shirt dress for £29.99, too. So, green is the new black... or should that be recycled florals are the new green?
