Go nude

This dress looks more expensive than it is - which is £39.99 from H&M. Yes, really. It comes in black, too, but it's the barely-there shade that's the stand-out colour here. Along with those beaded epaulette details.

Yep, this elegant dress in this season's nude (trust me, this spring/summer, beige is your new best friend) will see you from 9 to 5 through to cocktail hour. The only thing missing? Hidden side pockets. But hey, that's a personal preference. Its nipped-in waist is super-flattering, too.

  1. It's really pretty although personally I wouldn't wear something with shoulder pads like that.

  2. I love this dress! But you seem to post lots of H&M clothes, anything else?

  3. I wish I could pull of something like that! but that style of dress really doesn't suit me. The detailing is beautiful though!

  6. Very pretty dress. Is this from the new Garden collection? I've got my eye on a couple of pieces from that and they're all nude too! I'm interested to see what the beads are like on the black one.

  8. I bought this in the black - saw it and had to have it!
I've got broad shoulders so can't really do the whole shoulder pad thing, but the shoulders aren't actually padded on this so it's really wearable, and you're right, super flattering!
