He loves me, he loves me not...
I'm a sucker for charms. I'm not talking the masculine kind here (although I am sucker for those, too) but the jewellery variety. Charm bracelets, charm necklaces - they all catch my magpie eye. I like that they tell a story or signify important markers in a person's life. Of course, you don't have to build up a collection over time, especially with the likes of Alex Monroe handcrafting delicate little charms and Annina Vogel sourcing the most wonderful trinkets. Neither do they have to be 18ct gold.
Take this heart necklace - it's made from brass, but charming nonetheless. Created from 1950s tooling, it has a vintage vibe, while the arrow adds an element of fun. So, does he love you? Spin it and see!
It's £12.50 from Eclectic Eccentricity, a delightful online jewellery boutique that I discovered recently. Like its name, the vintage-inspired pieces on offer are quirky and individual. I like that each design is given a fabulous name. This love spinner, for example, is called Oui Oui Mon Cheri! And you know that Urban Outfitter's envelope necklace that I adore? Well, Eclectic Eccentrity has its own version called For Your Eyes Only - and it'll only cost you £14.50 for a peek.
Actually, it'll cost you less as the lovely people at Eclectic Eccentricity are offering a 10% discount especially for Bargainista Fashionista readers. Just use the code BARGAINFASH. It's valid until 31st July 2010. So, is this a bargain deal? The spinning arrow says yes.
