Fab find for a fiver

Remember the £3 Marc Jacobs 'I love you' spinner necklace I blogged about in December? Wasn't it a steal? It always gets admired whenever I wear it and it's even been mistaken for Stella McCartney's far more expensive version.

Anyway, in the name of bargain-hunting, I went back to the Marc by Marc Jacobs store on London's South Audley Street in search of more affordable charms and trinkets.

The store didn't disappoint, with its Special Items range offering this gold-tone wishbone necklace for £5. On a 24-inch chain, it hangs down towards your navel and looks great doubled up with the 'I love you' spinner necklace which, by the way, is still available.

It's not only the chain that's longer, the wishbone charm itself is two-inches in length. The necklace, meanwhile, bears a 'Marc' of authenticity in the shape of a Marc Jacobs branded tag attached to the clasp.

Designer jewellery for a fiver? Now that's good luck worth wishing for.

  1. OMG!! I am on a mission now to buy them both! Such a great bargain to stay chic for less. Thank you soooo much! :)

  2. I am so heading to South Audley Street when I'm in London next week!! Bring on the designer jewellery!! Thanks for the tip :)

  3. I bought the beautiful 'I love you' spinner necklaces as presents for me and my friends for Valentines, but the gold wishbone had sadly sold out! They have loads more amazing necklaces though.

  4. Hey, glad you love this find!

And hope your pilgrimages to the Marc Jacobs mecca were worth it :)

Apparently, the wishbone comes in silvertone, too.

Btw, can I just say, Fuschia, what a lovely friend you are! What a sweet idea.
