Swedish Hasbeens for H&M

Have you heard about H&M's latest designer collaboration which launches tomorrow? Hot on the success of its footwear collections with Jimmy Choo and Lanvin, the high-street giant has joined forces with one of SJP's favourite shoe labels: Swedish Hasbeens.

The timing couldn't be better. With the 1970s back in fashion this summer, Swedish Hasbeens has created three designs of clog for H&M, inspired by the traditional Swedish styles of that decade. Choose from a chunky heeled sandal, a gladiator-style wedge and a peep-toe, lace-up wedge, all made by handcrafted methods in leather with a wooden sole.

It goes without saying that one of the most exciting things about this collaboration is getting Swedish Hasbeens at high-street prices; after all, the cult label's shoes are usually £175 upwards. So, thank you H&M, you've done it again, bringing us designer labels for just £34.99 to £39.99.

My favourite is the red pair. Which ones do you like?

  1. I thikn these are great, they look just like the original, more expensive ones. I think the price is very reasonable, especially since they're a trend that night not be around for a long time.
The last ones are a bit hideous, though.

  2. I like the red too! Sadly they won't be appearing at my local H&M, and I'm a bit leery of buying shoes online.

  3. So in love with my red pair and I got the black strappy ones too. Can't wait to wear them. This has to have been the calmest H&M launch ever only two other ladies there when I went in yesterday

  4. Really?? i'm sorry, i don't like any :(
When it comes to shoes i prefer style to confort and this remind me of something from hush puppies or so...
looking forwaring to seeing H&m team with another great designer soo!

  5. I love them!! I bought the first red pair and have already styled them on my blog. They're super comfortable!

  6. Julia M,
I'm with you there - I didn't like the last style either. But bargain prices for Swedish Hasbeens :)

There's still some sandals in store (the ankle-strap wedges) if you're planning a trip to London any time soon. And they're still online, too. The shoe sizes are standard UK sizes if you're worried about fit.
I shopped from H&M's website for the first time recently and it was absolutely fine. The one downside is that if you return an item to a store, you don't get a refund - only a credit note.

    Hey Lorelei,
Everyone I've spoken to who have a pair of these say they're really comfortable to wear.
And yes, I wish all H&M collaborations were like this! I guess this one was rather under the radar as I didn't see any advertising or magazines articles about them. Plus, some people may not have heard of Swedish Hasbeens before as it's a bit of a cult label.
Whatever, it made for an enjoyable shopping experience. Especially with the added bonus of the tote bag!

    Hey Shoe,
The red ones were a popular choice. Glad you love them.
