Bargainista Fashionista's New Look Editor's Picks
It's been an exciting time lately for Bargainista Fashionista. Not only did ASOS ask me to select my top 10 sale picks for its Facebook page, New Look invited me to take part in the Editor's Picks series for its NL Daily blog.
So, click here to see my favourite New Look autumn picks and to read my Q&A. I hope you enjoy it. As for my choices, these are the reasons to buy them…
The dress: Thanks to Miu Miu, you'll be seeing a lot of large floral-print (and bird-print) dresses come autumn/winter. The hyacinth pattern on this tea dress gives a vintage vibe, while the caped back adds a modern edge.
The skirt: Block colour continues into the new season. This skirt embraces autumnal navy and claret. Plus, the belt is a nice detail.
The cape: This 1970s-style cape is a stylish way to cover up. Like my H&M poncho, I think it'll become an essential when an extra layer is needed. It comes in cream, too.
The shirt: Peter Pan collars on tops and dresses are big next season. This elegant blouse with its scalloped edges is a chic way of working the look.
The bag: With faux-leather trim and expensive-looking hardware, this two-tone bag is a classic. I particularly love the ditsy print lining inside. It also comes in a black Miu Miu-esque dandelion pattern.
The ring: This fox ring is so cute and a bargain at £6.99. It reminds me of my favourite Zoe & Morgan foxy knocker necklace.
What pieces take your fancy? Let me know.

Congratulations!! great choices
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely pieces.
ReplyDeleteI have a stupid cold at the moment and would dearly love to be snuggled in the cape. It looks perfect for layering on those autumnal days too mild for a coat.
Off to New Look, I go... ;0)

ReplyDeleteNice selection, so sweet and vintag. I read your post about the red lace dress. I am also very thin and not very tall (1m65). So I can buy my clothes directly from Korea and China and I am very satisfied.
