Red or Dead's high-street revival

Red or Dead, the label launched by Wayne and Geraldine Hemingway, is making a comeback. Starting out as a stall on Camden Market in 1982, it became a high-street success in the 1980s and 1990s with stores and stockists around the world.

Now, under creative director Katie Greenyer, who's been with the label since her late teens, Red or Dead is now stocked exclusively at Schuh, Tightsplease, Specsavers and Bank.

Its footwear designs are particularly worth noting. Take these suede shoes with their concealed platforms – an elegant buy for £70. And I like the heart tee with its part leopard print, part graffiti design for £20. Plus, if you missed the Versace for H&M collection, this bead skirt has the midas touch about it for £50.

Keep up-to-date with Red or Dead at www.redordead.com and on Facebook and Twitter. It's definitely a label to watch, as it's autumn/winter video shows…
