From my-wardobe to my wardrobe
I've got a confession to make. I've bought a second pair of Grenson shoes. I couldn't help myself. I was so delighted with my suede and patent Eliza's I found my fingers typing Grenson into a Google search.
Which led me to the my-wardrobe sale. And, in particular, these Martha black patent brogues. I adore the tassel laces and the oh-so shiny patent-leather - it gives the classic brogue a modern twist. As to how to wear them, I'm picturing a chic black smock dress for a cool French sensibility. Girlie meets androgyny.
Martha was reduced from £170 to £85. Plus, I managed to bag myself a further 10% discount with a my-wardrobe sale code. So, all in, £4.95 postage included, it was just over £80.
The good news is, since my little shopping spree, there's been further reductions and these shoes are now £68. The bad news is, there aren't many sizes left. But, Martha also comes in gorgeous grey suede, in the my-wardrobe sale for £85.
Don't forget to look out for Grenson's second women's collection, too. For spring/summer, it's embraced the new-season pastels. Swoon. (Hmmm, the Stickman has just confiscated my credit card!).
